Shreveport Metropolitan Ballet debuts the new ballet PETER PAN April 22 and 23 at Shreveport’s Riverview Theater! The performance features guest artist Simon Wexler of American Ballet Theatre (ABT) as Peter Pan and a cast of more than 75 local dancers!
Peter, Wendy, Tinkerbell, and all the characters from this classic tale are brought to life with imaginative new choreography by SMB Artistic Director Kendra Meiki, grand scenery, and enchanting new costumes.
SMB’s PETER PAN features a captivating score written by Kermit Poling and performed by The Shreveport Symphony Orchestra. This performance marks the mid-south premiere of Poling’s original score.
This magical production will take you to Neverland with dancers soaring above the Riverview stage thanks to Flying By Foy; the most prolific and widely-respected theatrical flying service in the world!
SMB’s PETER PAN opens Saturday, April 22nd at 6:30pm, with an additional performance on Sunday, April 23rd at 3:00pm. Performance tickets range in price from $15 through $45 and may be purchased online at http://www.shreveportmetroballet.org or by calling the SMB office at 318.221.8500.
